SDSU via the Student Ability Success Center (SASC) and UC San Diego via the Office for Students with Disabilities (OSD) provides accommodations for students with documented disabilities or medical conditions covered under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). In keeping with current public health and university guidance, we cannot provide accommodations to students without an ADA-qualified disability or medical condition.

If you are a student with an ability challenge in need of accommodations, please contact the appropriate SDSU and/or UC San Diego Center/Office as soon as possible. Please know accommodations are not retroactive, and we cannot provide accommodations until we have received an official accommodation letter. Please note that registration and accommodation approvals may take up to 10-14 business days, so please plan accordingly.

In general…

  • For classes, practica, labs at SDSU: Request accommodations through the SDSU Student Ability Success Center (SASC)
  • For classes, practica, labs at UC San Diego: Request accommodations through the UC San Diego Office for Students with Disabilities (OSD)

Due to the joint nature of our program, there may be times when students will need to request accommodations from both Universities.

We recommend and encourage students to reach out for any assistance and consult with the course instructors or the Program Directors as needed.
