Placement Type VA Outpatient
Patient Type Predominantly OEF/OIF veterans with history of mild to moderate TBI and comorbid PTSD and/or depression; some opportunities for cog rehab with other populations (e.g., neurological, aging, etc.)
Experience Type Delivering compensatory cognitive rehabilitation (including psychoeducation and strategies for prospective memory, attention, learning/memory, and problem-solving/cognitive flexibility) to Veterans. Experience conducting neuropsychological evaluations/report writing/providing feedback is also available.

Experience Necessary Some prior neuropsychological experience is preferred.
Time Commitment 10 hours per week preferred, part-time will be considered

Other Issues While neuropsycholgical testing is likely to be delayed due to COVID-19, if we are not back to in person services by July 1, practicum students may start and do Cognitive Rehabilitation via telehealth as appropriate.
