Research Interests
Johanna’s research interests focus on the neural correlates of cognitive biases and emotion dysregulation that influence the development and maintenance of psychopathology in youth. She is specifically interested in using multimodal assessments (e.g., neural, physiological, cognitive, socio-emotional) to examine how these mechanisms explain the manifestations of issues such as changes in attention, memory, and information processing, that contribute to the experience of internalizing disorders and suicidal thoughts and behaviors.
