Research Interests
Angela’s research interests focus on Latino health disparities in the U.S and on risk/protective factors, specifically regarding cardiometabolic health conditions. Within this topic, Angela is interested in the association between trauma exposure and cardiometabolic health, as well as in the development of culturally-tailored behavioral interventions for reducing cardiometabolic risk among Latinos.
